Volae Over/Under Idler Upgrade Kit

This kit changes your Volae chainline to a single high quality Over/Under Idler. We've installed these on several bikes and the results have been so remarkable, we have dropped the Power/Return direct upgrade we used to offer. The Over/Under chain path works so much better we didn't see any reason to offer the other. It's simpler and less expensive, too. Kit consists of an Over/Under idler built in either Sport (aluminum cog and ABEC bearings) or Elite Series featuring Titanium cog and Ceramic bearings. The kit also features a really beautiful machined clamp on chainkeeper, and a new clamp on idler mount specifically matched to the Volae tube size and allowing you to place the idler kit in the best location midframe. The new clamp on idler mount attaches to the main tube in front of the seat and provides a simple, solid mount for the idler at the midpoint of the bike. You'll appreciate the smooth, quiet simplicity of this idler kit.

Note: If using this kit on a Rans Force 5 old style with triangulated frame you may have to add a left pull brake like the ones available from Bachetta to minimize chain interference.
